This will be Henrik Sedin’s first all-star game appearance.

Only thought: How can you only send one Sedin?

That's what I was thinking.

On second thought
Maybe the league just figured that Daniel would just be coming with Henrik and dressing up in his jersey for certain competitions so it wouldn't matter if they sent him anyway.

Also, it's both sad and good that Luongo will not be attending this year. It's kind of weird that they announced that he would be and THEN he said that he was staying home.

Re: On second thought
I wonder if the league even knows the difference between the two. Maybe they sent the wrong Sedin.

Yeah, it is sad but very sweet that Luongo won't be going. I hope, like he stated in his interview, that this decision does not affect future All-Star voting.

The ASG is a joke anyway. Seriously, I'd rather everyone on our team take a break and return refreshed instead of going to some lame-ass game that's BORING AS FUCK. The only thing I'm ever interested in is the skills comp.

My biggest nightmare is that somehow, our player will get injured in a no-hitting, no-slapshot game. And trust me, if they can, they will.
